Help ensure a bright future for animals by becoming a member of the ARL's Humane Legacy Society—a group of visionary, forward-thinking supporters who have made estate plan provisions to give a lasting gift to homeless animals at the ARL.

In addition to providing a lasting legacy for the animals, as a member of the ARL's Humane Legacy Society you will receive the following benefits:

• The ARL's Tailwaggers newsletter for life
• A Humane Legacy Society lapel pin
• An invitation to a special Humane Legacy Society luncheon
• Recognition as a Humane Legacy Society member on this webpage
• For realized legacy gifts of $100,000 or more, your name will be recognized on the Humane Legacy Society bench, which is placed on the property of the ARL's main shelter

The following types of commitments qualify you for membership in the the ARL's Humane Legacy Society:

• A bequest provision in your will or revocable trust
• A gift of stock, real estate and other assets
• A gift of life insurance
• A life income gift that names the the ARL as a remainder beneficiary, such as a charitable remainder trust or charitable gift annuity
• A charitable lead trust that provides income to the ARL for a donor's lifetime or a term of years
• A gift or assignment of qualified retirement plan assets, such as an IRA, 401(k) or 403(b)
